Our Young Sustainability Champions Go Live on RWS103.3
This week, twelve of our remarkable children stepped beyond the school gates and onto the airwaves as they joined Mrs Ratley and Mrs Coe for a live interview on RWS103.3. Each of these pupils had earned their place through their thoughtful and inspiring entries to our Values Competition, and they represented our school with maturity, courage, and genuine passion.
Although many of them admitted to feeling nervous, the moment the microphones went live they spoke with clarity, confidence, and heart. They shared the incredible work happening across our school to promote sustainability—from reducing waste and protecting local wildlife to championing energy‑saving habits and encouraging others to take small but meaningful actions.
What shone through most was their belief that children can make a real difference. Their words captured the spirit of our values: courage to speak up, compassion for our planet, and a commitment to positive change.
We are incredibly proud of every one of them. Their voices carried not only their own ideas, but the collective determination of our whole school community to build a greener, kinder future.
This was more than a radio appearance—it was a celebration of children leading the way.
